Juda Xavier is an up and coming choreographer, creative director and dancer from Western Sydney. A proud POC and member of the LGBTQIA+ communities - Juda, who goes by He/They pronouns, identifies themselves at present, as a gender fluid and bisexual artist of Filipino ancestry. Given such, Juda strives to empower the communities to which he represents, aiming to create more room, opportunities and more representation for people like himself within mainstream media.

Having found their passion for dance in high school through COMPLEX Dance Academy (founded by Zack To’o) at the age of 16, Juda has now moved on to train under the direction of Ray Fugawai with Kingdom Culture Company as they develop their craft and artistry in the Hip Hop dance form. Juda most recently, has also participated in the Humxn program - facilitated by Sela Vai, in aims of developing further refinement in his movement, creative process, and working on the aspects of internal wellbeing and psyche that play integral role in many art forms.

Juda describes himself to be a visionary, and loves to dabble in different mediums across various projects. Juda has used his past and current dance training in making greater strides towards his more recent passion in dance film/concept videos. Combining his love for editing, directing, choreography and music, Juda released his first concept video “Comfort Zone”, using “Boom Bam” by Team Salut to deliver his vision in the summer of 2021. His concept video was met with much support from Team Salut themselves, reposting his video on their official Youtube channel.

In the future, Juda hopes to dance for and/or bring dance visual videos and stage performances to life for artists, with a particular passion for supporting artists that are in touch with their femininity and/or love to break societal norms. Juda believes art and expression to be a voice for those in particular - who have been silenced or oppressed by societal ideologies and structures, hoping to create shifts in conversations regarding topics to which they are passionate about through their art.
